Product Description
Some berries and / or field and infeed conditions require multiple stages of stem, stalk, twig, leaf and other contaminant removal. When that is needed, the polisher is the final stage.
- The fruit first enters the polisher’s charging hopper
- A brush pushes the product through the system
- Product passed through a cylinder with perforated sieves
- By design, frost forms on the cylinder, attracting and collecting unwanted material
- Final “polished” fruit exits to the discharge
- The system is designed for quick cleaning times
- Larger waste is collected in a bottom reservoir
