[MENOMONEE FALLS, WI, August 19,2021] – ProEx Food, LLC announces our enhanced capabilities in potato, beet, and other root vegetable processing line solutions. This expansion now covers fresh applications, with new portfolio products and industry knowledge.

While ProEx Food has served potatoes and other root crops since 2018, initial offerings centered around frozen applications. Now, in response to customer requests and recent projects, ProEx Food has invested in fresh, fresh-cut and similar value-add output capabilities. All line solutions remain custom and specific to each customer’s exacting needs.

Serving this important customer base required ProEx Food to execute four strategies:

Per Ross Lund, CEO of ProEx Food “We are delighted to announce this strategic investment for our customers. Our new product and sales alignment will help us deliver even greater value for our customers. Our goal is to provide our customers with line installations that are attainable, deliver high levels of product quality and safety, and exist within their budgets. We also strive to make sure ROI is recouped quickly. Our team consists of several industry veterans with years of experience, that know how to fine tune the line and reduce waste.”

A major point of pride in the evolution is the new Peeler line. The PXRPM and PXKPM series peelers underwent design changes made to streamline the drive. This has resulted in a new system that performs at a high level with fewer electronic components, reducing the cost and complexity to run.

Daniel Ghadiri, President and CTO expands, “Our customers voiced frustration that their design ideas weren’t being utilized by their suppliers. The quotes they were receiving were exceedingly high, and they were apprehensive on making the investment. So, we sat down and really dug into their needs. We found ways to deliver high quality solutions that were attainable. Not only did this help with current projects, but also set our customers on a path for planned incremental upgrades to their lines, equipment and technologies. Further, we have worked to expand our aftersales capability in all markets, to meet customer demand.”

ProEx Food continues to grow beyond our foundational core of sweet corn and green bean processing lines and automation technology integrations. This expansion showcases the ability to serve fresh market, fresh-cut, frozen and shelf-stable processors. Main produce categories served are: sweet corn, beets, berries, carrots, broccoli & cauliflower, fresh-cut fruits, green & snap beans, leafy greens, mushrooms, onions, peas and potatoes.
