Product Description
Our capper machine is designed to de-stem / de-stalk strawberries and radishes. It can also halve or quarter then when equipped. This machine reduces manual labor while improving recovery of the fruit.
Models include an infeed conveyor belt that automatically replenishes raw product for loading operators. Operators load individual products into specially-designed holders that move at a set cadence.
Once loaded, trays enter the machine so the blade head can snip out the stem while keeping most of the product intact. Optional blades can quarter or halve the fruit here, as well. The waste and usable product are separately discharged.
This is a dry process, using no additional water to operate. It is estimated to reduce waste to only around 10%.
